Summoning is an amazing ability, but you're not able to OSRS gold make it happen immediately. If you're not yet done so, get 43 prayer by using penguin points, and the troll invasion DnD to put those points into summoning. Achieving a spirit terrorbird (level 52) is extremely worthwhile and beneficial. What I'm saying is...always pick up your charms. It's not worth leaving them on the ground.

Farming can be helpful for herbs, but you can let that slide for a time. I certainly wouldn't call it the only thing that matters to do. But don't forget it. Learn to farm things and build it up slowly. At around level 30/35 you'll be able to make some decent cash from it.

The Slayer may not be worth the effort to power train yet. Do it when you feel like it. If you're 55 years old, it's helpful because it lets you unlock some useful new features however, until you get to the point where you'd like to have that then don't bother. It can earn a few dollars however, it's not making money. At least not at a minimal level.

Hunter: I found it to be a fantastic source of income when I was a new member. The opportunity to make money from some of these beasts is rewarding and I'd strongly recommend to see what you can achieve using this skill. For a time, that was my main source of money. I'm not certain if it's the same today but it's possible it is, and at the highest levels, that's certain to be the situation (grenwalls and the like).).

I'm looking to upgrade my current armour set, and i need a bit of assistance. Which one is better in your opinion? Overview: Good defensive ability and strength bonus, but is a little weak in slash because there won't be a defender.
